The Therapist will assess your child using assessment tools that best suit the needs of your child. They will compare your child’s presentation to standardised norms to determine if communication skills are at an age-appropriate level. If skills are delayed, the Therapist will recommend treatment, at which point frequency and length of sessions will be discussed. Using this information, you will then receive a Summary Report outlining the outcome of the assessment and recommended next steps.
Speech Therapy (Private):
60 minutes — $320
90 minutes — $360
120 minutes — $400
Occupational Therapy (Private):
90 minutes — $460
Audiology (Private):
60 minutes — $194

The Therapist will target specific and individualised goals, based on the information gathered through Initial Assessment. The Therapist will, as much as possible, involve you as the Parent in the treatment process, by equipping you with strategies and specific home practice to carry out during the week.
Speech Therapy (Private):
30-minutes F2F + 15 minutes of non-F2F — $145
45-minutes F2F + 15 minutes of non-F2F — $194
Occupational Therapy (Private):
30-minutes F2F + 15 minutes of non-F2F — $145
45-minutes F2F + 15 minutes of non-F2F — $194
Audiology (Private):

The Speech Pathologist will work with your child using specific assessments and questionnaires, as requested by the Language Development Centre (LDC) for an application. They will then analyse this information and provide feedback regarding your child’s presentation. The Speech Pathologist will discuss whether analysis of your child inidicates it is appropriate for you to apply for the LDC. The Speech Pathologist will complete the application form and provide all relevant data to the LDC prior to the closing date.
Private: 90 minutes — $400

Rebates
Little Lions Speech Pathology provides onsite Private Health Insurance claiming for most major health funds.
Clients may be eligible to claim part of their assessment and/or treatment cost depending of the level of the cover.
