Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your appointment and it is not an emergency situation, we require you to email or call 6406 1985 — at least 48 hours prior to your appointment time.

However, we understand that situations can arise outside of your control, therefore the below applies:

With at least 48 hours notice — no cancellation fee.

Without 48 hours notice — full session fee, unless your child is unwell — please notify us by no later than 8:30am on the day of your appointment (unless it is an emergency).

Two in a row — if you do not attend two appointments in a row without notice, you will forego your recurring time slot.

If a cancellation fee applies, it is to be paid at your next appointment.

Please note: the above applies to Private clients only — NDIS clients will be charged a cancellation fee as per NDIS guidelines.

Why do we charge a cancellation fee?

The cancellation fee accounts for:

  • Time the Speech Pathologist spent preparing for the session;

  • Loss of time for a session that was planned for;

  • Preventing the scheduling of an appointment for another client.
